The existing Greenfields open bar area at the Riley Hotel underwent a complete transformation. The existing space was demolished to make way for a new 5 Star luxury Rum Bar called the “Calypso Club”.

The new design included new structural steel and stacking door system to enclose the area. This enables the space to have the option to be completely open or enclosed to suit the weather on the day. The fitout works included a new bar area with Italian stone, handmade wall tiles and custom joinery. New commercial kitchen space with open servery to the dining area. Feature ceiling with custom handmade rattan ceiling panels and LED strip lights. The new dining area includes new black butt upholstered banquet seating, planter boxes, blackbutt wall panelling and tiling throughout. New AV and Lighting design allowing the end user to manage different lighting  and music settings via a Crestron 10” touch panel. Upgrades to the existing Fire & Hydraulic services and new Mechanical services including new AC and kitchen exhaust system.

All of the works had to be completed while the Hotel was operational during the peak holiday season with minimal disruptions to Hotel Operations. This was managed with a complete sealed hoarding solution to the perimeter of the site to control dust and noise with noisy works restrictions in place when required.
